Ohio University alum Svetlana Kachintseva ’95M.S. is Director of Technology Infrastructure at Hanweck Associates LLC in greater New York City.

Kachintseva earned an M.S. in Mathematics from the College of Arts & Sciences.

“Hanweck is the leading provider of risk analytics as-a-service with our real-time, data-enabled, global, cross-asset risk analytics platform,” according to its website. “Hanweck is the leading provider of real-time risk analytics on global derivatives markets focusing on the large-scale risk problems of banks, broker/dealers, hedge funds, central counterparties and exchanges — where the number of instruments and positions number in the millions. Hanweck delivers risk analytics as a real-time service in flexible ways, from feeds to APIs, that dramatically simplify integration with customers’ risk architecture.”

“Ms. Kachintseva oversees the entirety of Hanweck’s technology infrastructure, including the firm’s data centers, network, hardware, IT security, and infrastructure related projects. She has over 20 years of experience in technology leadership roles within the financial services industry, including most recently as Manager of IT Infrastructure at Davidson Kempner Capital Management, a top tier hedge fund, and previously as Co-Head of Infrastructure at Soros Fund Management. Ms. Kachintseva holds a Master’s in Computer Science/Mathematics from Ohio University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys,” according to the firm’s management page.
