Transfer Tip | Discuss Transient Courses With Your Adviser

By Kristi Conrad
Academic Advisor & Transfer Specialist

Taking a class at another institution over the summer? Be sure to discuss your course selection for transient classes with your faculty adviser. Some programs have majors with courses taken in a particular sequence. To be sure that you are taking the most beneficial course away from Ohio University, bring your approved transient form to your advising meeting before registering for fall.

This will keep your advisor informed of your plans, and they may have suggestions for other summer options to help speed along your studies.

If you have not completed a transient form, but are taking classes at another school, please be sure to do so before registering for those classes.

Find the transient form and instruction online.

Questions and forms can be sent to Kristi Conrad at conradk@ohio.edu.
