Department of Biological Sciences Honors Thesis Presentations, April 14

The Biological Sciences Department announces the first two Honors Thesis Presentations for the Spring of 2017 on Friday, April 14, in Irvine 159.

At 3 p.m., Rosemary Oaks, an Honors Tutorial College student in Biological Sciences, will present her thesis, “Examining the Relationship Between Coxsackievirus Infection and Coxsackievirus and Adenovirus Receptor Expression in NOD Mouse Kidneys.” Her mentor is Dr. Karen Coschigano.

At 4 p.m., Alyssa Ensminger, also an HTC student in Biological Sciences, presents her thesis, “Prediction of Radial Bending Strength by Cortical Porosity and Diameter.” Her mentor is Dr. Anne Loucks, Professor of Biological Sciences.
