Change can be difficult, especially when you’re faced with major milestones like graduation. So this week I want to encourage all of our Seniors who will be leaving Athens this April to make the transition easier and plan ahead!
- Apply for graduation! The deadline is Feb. 13.
- Talk with your faculty and advisers to ask about references. You’re going to need them!
- Finalize your resume and cover letter with Kacey Schaum (schaum@ohio.edu).
- Attend the Career and Internship Fair on Feb. 14.
- Start and continue applying to jobs or graduate and professional schools.
- Organize any important papers and documents that you want to keep from your classes.
- Start to figure out your living arrangements for post-graduation.
- Be sure to have a support system of family and friend in place.
- Confirm your commencement plans.
- Start checking off your Athens Bucket List!
