Dr. Nancy Sin

Sin is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Pennsylvania State University. She is a social and health psychologist interested in the psychosocial determinants of cardiovascular health and aging. Her research focuses on how positive and stressful experiences in day-to-day life influence biobehavioral pathways underlying cardiovascular disease (e.g., inflammatory, neuroendocrine, and sleep). This work is conducted using ecological methods for capturing experiences and stress physiology as they unfold in daily life. This research can inform the development of novel strategies to enhance both emotional and physical well-being and to promote healthy aging.
