The planning committee for the second annual Perfecting Pedagogical Practices conference, an interdepartmental graduate conference centered on sharing best practices in teaching and learning to improve as teachers, is seeking volunteers to serve on the planning committee for the 2017 conference.

The conference, which will be held Feb. 24, 2017, in Alden Library, is an entirely graduate-run, one-day event intended to foster conversation among graduate students about teaching strategies and to discuss topics ranging from pedagogical theory to practical activities to try in the classroom.

The planning committee will begin meeting in early October and convene approximately every three weeks until the conference in February (excepting winter break). Organizers are seeking graduate student volunteers from all Arts & Sciences departments to fill positions of finance manager, presentation team, logistics and food team, media manager, and designer, as well as general volunteers.

If you are interested, please contact committee chair Kelly Masterson at km603806@ohio.edu. More information about the conference and committee positions can be found  http://pedagogyconference.wixsite.com/2017.
