Political Science Alum Named Fairfield County Bar President

Ohio University alum Alyssa L. Parrott ’07 has been named Fairfield County Bar Association president, reports the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette.

She earned a B.A. in Political Science from the College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio University.

LANCASTER – Alyssa L. Parrott, associate at Dagger, Johnston, Miller, Ogilvie & Hampson, LLP, was recently named president of the Fairfield County Bar Association, a voluntary organization of more than 140 attorneys who represent Fairfield County and central Ohio.

Prior to being named president of the bar association, a position she will hold until June 2017, Parrott served as secretary, treasurer and vice president. She was previously employed at the Franklin County Probate Court as a law clerk and then a staff attorney and now specializes in family and juvenile law.

Parrott received her law degree from Capital University law school in 2010. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ohio University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
