An Evening of Sweet Exchange at Ohio University, March 31

A new university-wide program titled “An Evening of Sweet Exchange” is Thursday, March 31, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in Nelson Commons.

Students attending the multicultural dessert social will experience a free opportunity to interact and bond over structured activities, international music, and a variety of desserts.

The program is presented by the Patton College of Education, various Ohio University student support offices, and three graduate students in Antoinette Frisoli’s Rec 5620: Convention & Event Planning course.

The event is a pilot for an annual initiative from the Patton College of Education to connect OHIO students from all walks of life to others who have similar and different backgrounds. An Evening of Sweet Exchange is open to all students and is family friendly. Early arrival is encouraged because the fun will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m.
