MLK and Strategies for Social Change, Jan. 23

MLK and Strategies for Social Change: Then & Now is a panel discussion about the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s strategic
vision for creating social change and how activists are inspired by him today in the struggle for racial justice.

The panel discussion is Friday, Jan. 23, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Baker Center Front Room.

The panel features:

  • Dr. Francine Childs, Professor Emerita of African American Studies
  • Dr. Patricia Gunn, Associate Professor of Law
  • Ohio University Student Activists Ryant Taylor, John Brown and Kelli Oliver
