After serving as Associate Editor for Language Learning for several years, Dr. Scott Jarvis, Professor of Linguistics, was elected to the journal’s Board of Directors in April 2011. Since then, he has been serving as the Associate Executive Director for the journal, and is set to become the new Executive Director in April 2015.

Jarvis also was recently appointed to the Executive Committee of the American Association of Applied Linguistics (AAAL) to serve until March 2016 in place of one of the elected Members at Large, who was unable to complete the rest of his term.
