Academic Leadership Group Being Organized for 2014-15

A College of Arts & Sciences Academic Leadership Group is being organized for the 2014-15 academic year, for faculty who are new or relatively new to academic leadership positions at the university or who are interested in academic leadership (e.g., as department chair, program director, graduate chair, or other academic leadership position).

The Academic Leadership Group will meet once a month during the academic year, with specific topics to be decided by the group. Format will include panel and group discussions, with readings on selected topics.

Fall semester meeting dates & times in Wilson 303:
Wednesday, Sept. 17, 1-2 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 15, 1-2 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 12, 1-2 p.m.
