Ping Institute Hosts Teachers Workshop on Lysistrata

The Charles J. Ping Institute for the Teaching of the Humanities presents a Saturday Workshop for Teachers featuring Lysistrata by Aristophanes, adaptation by Ellen McLaughlin, on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Ohio University.

The workshop leader is Dr. Tom Carpenter, the Charles J. Ping Professor of Humanities, Director of the Ping Institute, and Professor of Classics at Ohio University.

Registration begins at 9 a.m., with a welcome at 9:30 a.m. The workshop and discussion are in Ellis 113. Lunch is on your own, and the program concludes with a 4 p.m. performance of the play at the Ohio University Forum Theater.

The workshop is free and includes a ticket to the matinee performance and a copy of the play.
