“Hannah Boesinger, a 2013 Hudson graduate, decided to continue her academic and basketball careers at Ohio University in Athens last month,” the Hudson Tub-Times reported June 16.
Boesinger originally signed a national letter of intent to attend Youngstown State University last fall. When she signed at Youngstown State, she planned to go into pre-pharmacy with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry.
“I wanted to change my major,” Boesinger said. “I want to go into either biology or environmental biology. I know Ohio U has a really good biology program.”
Boesinger also felt more comfortable switching schools because Youngstown’s coaching staff is now at Ohio University.
