The Ohio University Mock Trial Team is holding tryouts on Wednesday, Sept. 16, beginning at 6 p.m.
In order to tryout, interested students must sign up with Mock Trial Recruitment Director Sierra Causey no later than Sept. 9, 2015, at 5 p.m. by emailing her at sc537711@ohio.edu.
After signing up, students will receive tryout materials and a time slot in order to try out.
The Ohio University Mock Trial Team is a student organization designed to assist those interested in law and the legal system pursue their education outside of the classroom with hands-on experience. Through competition, practice, meetings, and lectures, members will grow to better prepare them for their professional careers.
The Mock Trial team is coached by Center for Law, Justice & Culture Pre-Law Specialist Larry Hayman and Grant Garber, Associate General Counsel in the University’s Office of Legal Affairs. Students also will have an opportunity to work with guest coach attorneys throughout the school year.
