Ohio University students are invited to submit applications to attend the Ohio GIS Conference in Columbus on Sept. 25-27, 2017, free of charge.
The Ohio Chapter of the Urban Regional Information Systems Association has set aside funds to pay the registration fee for a limited number of students seeking assistance.

Student sponsorship includes full payment for the student to attend the three day conference. This opportunity is for students who are currently enrolled full-time (or recently graduated in the last six months) in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program with an Ohio college or university. Provisions also are being made for students who attend two-year colleges provided they are not gainfully employed as the intent of this sponsorship is financial assistance for traditional students, according to the . Students are required to fill out an application. Please also fill out the Conference Registration form that accompanies the application so we can register you should you be chosen. The opportunity is limited to funding availability and will be judged solely on the application received.
