Walk-In auditions for Season 39 of Fridays Live for Fall 2017 are Monday and Tuesday of finals week, April 24-25, in the AVW Office on the third floor of Baker from 7-9 p.m.
“We are not only looking for available actors for the 2017-18 school year, but also writers, camera people, sound people, editors, graphic designers … really anyone who wants to help out and have a good time! And did I mention it looks good on a resume?” says Tess Greweling, Producer & Art Director for Fridays Live.
“For those who aren’t familiar with what we do, Fridays Live is a student-run live sketch comedy series. For typically eight weeks in a semester, we pitch ideas, write sketches, and air a 30-minute show on WOUB that Friday, then later post the episodes to our YouTube page. We also create our own digital shorts and commercials for that week as well. If all of this sounds amazingly cool to you, come check us out next week. If all of this sounds absurd, check us out anyway,” says Greweling.
