Do you know how to learn?
This question seems like a no brainer but when you really think about it, learning takes a lot of practice. And we’ve all had to learn how to learn, from your academic advisor, to your crazy roommate, and even your professors and TAs.
Luckily, here at Ohio University, we have the Academic Advancement Center, which teaches students how to learn and study. They even have Study Skills Coaching where you can meet individually with an AAC staff member to discuss and strategize your learning habits.
Or if you prefer something more self-led, you can check out their online resources. The AAC also offers tutors for a variety of courses, along with Supplemental Instruction and the Math and Science Centers. So don’t wait!
