The Multicultural Activists Coalition, in partnership with a diverse group of Ohio University student organizations and departments, has organized a Pride Pachanga at the Living Learning Center on Friday, Dec. 2, from 6-10 p.m.
The event includes food, dancing, and a celebration of culture and diversity. The group hopes the event will give students an opportunity to “talk to people who are open and like minded while watching some performances and learning more about different organizations and groups on campus.”
There are many student organizations that will be in attendance including Students Teaching Against Racism in Society, F*ck Rape Culture, The International Student Union, Open Doors, Feminist Equality Movement, International Socialist Organization, and many others.
The LGBT Center, Multicultural Center, the Women’s Center, and United Campus Ministries have also sponsored the event.
Food will be provided by Ginger, Brennens, Bagel Street Deli, Avalanche, among others.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
