CLJC Law Center Seeks Undergraduate Student Associates

The Center for Law, Justice & Culture is accepting applications for Undergraduate Student Associate positions in 2016-2017. The deadline for the positions is Friday, April 23.

The Undergraduate Student Associate supports center activities and events relating to law and politics, criminal justice, human rights, and social justice.

This is a paid position for 5-10 hours per week, depending on the student’s availability, starting Aug. 22.CLJCoffice

As CLJC Undergraduate Research Associate, the student will be part of a vibrant team of CLJC faculty, students, and staff committed to the study of law from a liberal arts perspective, working most closely with CLJC Director Haley Duschinski in the office on the ground floor of Bentley Hall.

Through the position, the student associate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Write regular informational articles and feature stories about upcoming events, student awards, faculty research, and alumni activities for the OHIO College of Arts & Sciences Forum.
  • Manage the CLJC social media campaign by posting regular updates on Facebook and Twitter.
  • Design posters to help advertise for CLJC events, primarily the annual Critical Resistance speaker series.

For this position, the center is looking for someone who is energetic, conscientious, and passionate about issues relating to law, justice and culture.
