The Sustainability Studies curricular theme supports Campus Sustainability Day and Costume Swap for student, faculty, staff and alumni participation this fall.

Campus Sustainability Day: Follow the Office of Sustainability on Twitter (@SustainableOU) to engage in a live-tweeting event on Campus Sustainability Day, Wednesday, Oct. 22, working with Facilities and other campus administrators to identify sustainability-related opportunities on campus and troubleshoot solutions. A reception follows at Baker 1804 Lounge where students can learn about the energy consumption of the Baker Escalators. Stop by for free refreshments or to engage in the Costume Swap.

  • Campus Sustainability Day Live Tweet event starts at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 22 , with tweets occurring about every 10 minutes until noon.
  • At noon, the Live Tweet Event ends at Baker, and from noon to 2 p.m. students, faculty and staff can come to the Baker 1804 Lounge (fifth floor) for educational displays about the Baker Escalators and an energy study on them, free snacks, and a free costume exchange!

Sustainability Studies logoCostume Swap: Don’t break the bank this Halloween! Stop by the 1804 Lounge (1st Floor Baker) with an unwanted costume to donate and select a “new” costume to wear this year, at no cost, on Oct. 22 from noon to 2 p.m., in the 1804 Lounge.
