What happens when someone experiences a traumatic brain injury or stroke? These life-changing events can drastically change someone’s ability to interact with others. It’s critical—but difficult—for clinicians to assess language comprehension in these patients, as they may have complex combinations of impairments.

Hallowell, Ohio University Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders, has been developing novel eye-tracking methods to assess comprehension in adults who have a variety of neurological disorders.

The event will be live-streamed on Wednesday and archived, and the online audience is invited to submit questions.
