Appalachian Regional Cell Conference 2014 Abstract Deadline is Oct. 17

Ohio University graduate students from the Interdisciplinary Program in Molecular and Cellular Biology co-host the third annual Appalachian Regional Cell Conference on  Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Marshall University Student Center. The event is free, and transportation for students is provided.

2014 Appalachian Regional Cell ConferenceThe Appalachian Regional Cell Conference is a professional event organized by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from Ohio University, West Virginia University, Marshal University and the University of Kentucky. The event facilitates professional networking and resource sharing among graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the field of cell biology in the Appalachian region, while highlighting the area as a rapidly emerging center of student-driven research.

Keynote Speaker:  Dr. Beth Weaver, from the University of Wisconsin, discusses her work in therapeutic applications of mitosis research.

Abstract Registration: Open through Friday, Oct. 17

Event Registration: Open through Saturday, Oct. 25
