Possible Astronomical Alignments of Ohio’s Earthworks, Oct. 16

Thomas O’GradyThomas O’Grady, Athens County Historical Society & Museum President and an astronomy instructor at Ohio University, will speak about archaeoastronomy, the field of study dealing with the ways that archaeological sites correspond to the skies, and how Ohio’s earthworks might be aligned, on Oct. 16 at 5 p.m.

The Athens County Historical Society & Museum is located at 65 N. Court St., Athens. The event is part of Archaeology Month.
