Messenger Features A&S Alum Liz Paul Putting Down Roots

“Ohio University has changed the fabric of the Athens community through its students who came here and decided to stay (or come back) and put down roots, making Athens their home. One of those people is Liz Pahl, who settled here after graduating. She now serves as a grants manager and the program director of Leadership Athens County, both of which are part of the Athens Foundation,” the Athens Messenger reported on Oct. 25.

“Pahl, who grew up in Granville, graduated from Ohio University in 2003 with a bachelors of science in communication. In 2010, she earned her masters in public administration (from the College of Arts & Sciences). In her spare time, she sings, plays guitar and writes original music. She just played out for the first time in about a year with her new band, The Summoners.”
