Boaler IDs South Florida Plants on Everglades Trip

Hey everyone,

I was lucky enough to take part in a day-long trip to the Everglades to do a little plant identification while learning about the natural history of south Florida. We were led through a variety of ecosystem types and thankfully the mosquitoes were not too bothersome during our trek.

I’ll have the opportunity to re-visit the Everglades when I attend the CISMA (Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area) summit later this month, organized by various state level organizations as well as notable individuals and private institutions. I’ll be sure to add more images the album after the summit!

Here’s the album: http://imgur.com/a/5oKAA

Happy (belated) Independence Day!

Julian
