Hi everyone,

This past week I was lucky enough to take a visit to Naples Botanical Garden as part of a field trip that Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden set up (hooray!). The Naples garden re-opened to a new location in 2009 and has already become a great resource where the public can have fun and learn simultaneously.

The garden consists of smaller “gardens,” each usually represented by a common theme (the Asian garden, the Caribbean garden, etc) containing key plant species and architecture from the related geographic regions and cultures. The garden also does a lot of community outreach, taking the time to teach nearby schoolchildren and help rising culinary arts students attain certificates through an education program.

Attached below is an album with a few pictures I managed to take during my visit. Hope you enjoy! If you’re ever in Naples, I highly recommend checking it out.
